The American badger lives in our area, but it is rarely seen. Children can look at Hancock Park District’s mounted badger and check out its long claws, which are great for digging. Badger fur, skull, and tracks will be available to look at. Children will hear a story, make a badger puppet, and play in our own “badger tunnels.”

This activity takes place at 10 a.m. and 2 p.m.

Meet at the Discovery Center.  This free event is recommended for ages 3 and under with an adult; other aged siblings are welcome to attend.
