Black bears are the largest mammal in Ohio, but we don’t have to worry about them in Hancock County. How come? Bring your little one and join Hancock Park District to find out that answer and more about the black bear. Children will hear a story, make a paper-plate bear face, and partake in activities such as “Do I eat like a bear?” and “Compare to a bear.” Our black bear fur will also be out for children to touch.

This event takes place at both 10 a.m. and 1 p.m.

Meet at the Discovery Center. This free program is best suited for children ages 3 and under with an adult; other aged siblings are welcome to attend.  Registration is not required
