What job does a leaf do? Some of those jobs include providing shade, catching water, and being nest material. Children are invited to join their friends at Hancock Park District to learn the jobs leaves do, the many shapes they come in, and if they can be another color besides green in the summer. A story and leaf activities, including Leaf Match-Up and Making a Person Out of Leaves craft will be part of the program.

This event takes place at 10 a.m. and 1 p.m.

Meet at the Discovery Center.  This free event is open to ages 3 and under with an adult companion; other aged siblings are welcome to attend.  Registration is not required.
