Shapes are plentiful in nature from spots on a ladybug to the heart-shaped leaf of the Redbud tree. Children will learn about shapes in nature as they enjoy a short walk to Shank Lake and shape-related activities, like memory and matching games with their friends at Hancock Park District. Basic shapes and how they are found outside will be highlighted.

Meet on the Discovery Center Porch.  This free event is open to ages 3 and under with an adult; other aged siblings are welcome to attend.  Registration is not required.
