Worms are a favorite among children who like to get their hands dirty. They may seem gross, but worms play an important part in healthy soil. Your kids will have a lot of fun with their friends at Hancock Park District visiting different stations where they can investigate the parts of a worm, learn about their habitat, and create their own bookworm pencil topper.

Meet at Shelter 5 at the Oxbow Bend Activity Area at the Riverbend Recreation Area by 6:30pm. This event is recommended for ages 5-10; other aged siblings are welcome to attend as well. The event is free and registration is not required.
