One of the surefire signs of summer is when you see the Farmers’ Markets and farm stands start to pop up. Hancock County is a hub of the agricultural industry and we have many great ways to support our local growers and makers throughout the summer and spring.

MCPA Festival Grounds, Downtown Findlay
Located right in Downtown Findlay at the Marathon Center for the Performing Arts, the Hancock County Farmers’ Market is bursting with local produce and goods. Bring the whole family! Farm Stands
As the growing season continues many local farm stands have seasonal locations that are open regularly to provide you with local produce.
Wolfe’s Produce
Wolfe’s Produce, located between Findlay and Mt. Blanchard, is a staple for those looking for farm fresh food. With seasonal local produce and Amish goods delivered every Wednesday, you will want to be sure to make Wolfe’s a regular stop. Wolfe’s Produce typically opens in early July
Metzger Farms
Metzger’s Farm Market is back again! This seasonal farm stand will open in mid-July and is located along US-224 near Alvada has locally grown corn, melon, and other produce. Metzger’s is regularly at the Hancock County Farmers’ Market. Metzger’s Farm Stand typically opens in early July
Suters Produce
Suters Produce may be located in neighboring Putnam County, you can find one of Suter’s Red Barn Markets located on Tiffin Avenue near Panera Bread. The Red Barn Markets typically open in June.
Hurdwell Market
While not a farm stand, Hurdwell in Arlington is stocked with local meat, homemade goods, and seasonal produce! Open Monday-Friday, 10 a.m. – 6 p.m. and Saturday, 9 a.m. – 4 p.m.
