Buckeyes (and a few Ducks!) across Hancock County are preparing for the College Football Playoff Championship game on January 12. Here is everything you need to celebrate game day!
Where to Watch
There are plenty of places in Hancock County to watch the Bucks and Ducks duel it out during the championship game. You can watch the game at one of your tried and true spots, like Ralphie’s Sports Eatery and Fricker’s, or stop by one of the local sports hubs, like The Landing Pad and Logan’s Irish Pub. Alexandria’s is even having a National Championship Game Day Party with specials on drinks and their famous duck fat fries and wings.
What to Wear
There is no better way to show your team allegiance than to wear it! If you are looking for a new t-shirt to root on your team, visit Dick’s Sporting Goods or Dunham’s Sports for a huge selection. Trends On Main is the place to grab some scarlet and gray (or possibly, green and yellow!) gear. Order a few pounds of pulled pork and a vat of fries and pick up some scarlet and gray plates…you’re set! Or, call Beer Barrel Pizza & Grill for a more traditional take. Stop by Findlay Brewing Company on Friday evenings or stop by Great Scot on Broad Avenue and see what they have on tap and available. Great Scot has a huge wine and beer from across the state, it is the perfect way to have state pride and root on the Buckeyes.
