Enjoy Live Music this Summer!

We’ve shared before our favorite places to tap our toes in Hancock County, however now that the sun is shining you may be looking for places to tap your toes – outdoors…and we have you covered!  From live music Downtown, in our parks, at events and favorite restaurants, don’t miss our top places to enjoy live music this summer!

Courtyard Concert

Tuesdays, 11:30 a.m. – 1 p.m.
Latham Courtyard

When Tuesday afternoons roll around don’t worry about lunch – just head to Latham Courtyard for Courtyard Concerts!  Every Tuesday until August 15 (except July 4!) The Arts Partnership will be bringing some of your favorite local acts for a lunchtime concert.  Bring your own lunch or purchase something from that week’s restaurant.  This event is free and if it rains, don’t worry! Head to the back-up location, Trinity Episcopal Church, conveniently located on the same block at 128 W. Hardin St.  

Riverside Concert Series

Wednesdays and select Sundays, 7 – 8 p.m.

Pack a picnic and head to Riverside Park for the Riverside Concert Series on Wednesday evenings!

For 66 years musicians have been entertaining crowds at Riverside Park’s Allen P. Dudley Memorial Band Shell and this year they continue bringing tunes to the park every Wednesday through August 30 (August 23 is a rain date!) and a few select Sundays.  Pack a picnic dinner, bring your own lawn chairs or blanket, or get there early enough to find your favorite spot and enjoy a free concert provided by Hancock Park District!  

Rally in the Alley

Fridays, 5 – 8 p.m.
Latham Courtyard

Gather your co-workers and meet your friends to kick-off the weekend the right way – at Rally in the Alley!  Rally takes place every week until August 18 (except June 30) and is the place to be to listen to live music on Fridays nights.  Different bands are featured every week as are different restaurants, providing free samples off their menu.  Beer tickets are available to purchase, but admission is free!

Rally in the Alley is a great opportunity to kick-off the weekend and hear your favorite local musicians!

There are so many great events that feature wonderful musicians, make sure not to miss a single one!  Enjoy the music while sampling wines from various wineries from around Ohio during Riverside Wine Fest!  Live entertainment will be provided by 730 Club and James & Some Names, and there will also be different vendors, mini-paint and partakes by Awakening Minds Art, and more fun.  Country music lovers won’t want to miss Tunes N’ Trains at Northwest Ohio Railroad Preservation, Inc. on July 15!  Artists who will be taking the stage include Jake Cline, Shelby County Line, JB CrockettRyan RobinetteJoshua Melton, pre-sale tickets are just $12 so get yours today.  Street Feast on August 5, Flag City BalloonFest, and Arlington Village Festival all will have musical acts as well, see our Event Calendar for all events coming up! 

At your Favorite Restaurants

You won’t want to miss any of the live music acts that come to your favorite local restaurants and bars, but especially those that take place outdoors.  The Greek Garden has live music every evening they’re open and, weather permitting, music will take place in the alley next to the restaurant.  Fin’s Seafood & Grille also has a great location for live music outdoors, and on occasion bands will rock Gathering Wine‘s patio!
