Let’s be honest – it is crunch time. While reservations for many area brunches are full not all of them are! Stillwaters Retreat, a peaceful oasis located near McComb, is hosting a Mother’s Day Brunch and still have a few spaces available. Call 419-890-5453 to reserve your seat!
If Stillwaters Retreat’s brunch won’t work for you this time around you will need to have some patience and try to score a table at those local restaurants open on Mother’s Day Sunday. Local restaurants open on Sunday are Findlay Brewing Company (join the online waiting list!), Logan’s Irish Pub, Preteroti’s Spaghetti House, Oler’s, Casa Fiesta, The Pilgrim Restaurant (closes at 2 p.m.), Smokin’ Buckeye BBQ (closes at 2 p.m.), Kathy’s Korner (closes at 2 p.m.), The Dark Horse Restaurant (closes at 3 p.m.), Alexandria’s (open at 3 p.m.).
Another option is to show mom you care by cooking at home. The Wine Merchant has a special Mother’s Day Meal Kit you can order and pick up (complete with rosé!) to cook at home. Or, pick up some local meat from Hurdwell or Miller’s Meats to grill out!

None of these options your style? Order some pizza to enjoy at home or grab some ice cream for dinner for a casual day at home.

You won’t be lacking in Mother’s Day gift options when you shop local in Findlay!
