With warmer weather this weekend, it’s time to get out and enjoy the sun. So what would be a great way to get some Vitamin D in Findlay? Hmmmm….

Just a short walk down Main Street will give you plenty of beautiful architecture to marvel at. Thanks to the Gas Boom, our historical homes provide a window into a different time period when the homes were large and, at times, creative.

Your best bet would be to grab lunch downtown (perhaps Main Street Deli?) and then head south.

Within just a couple of blocks, you will be treated to the sight of these beautiful homes. And you will know it immediately, because they just don’t make them like this anymore:

You can dream of those that must have strolled on the same street you are on now, while also dreaming of what you might do to your own home to emulate this great time in Findlay history.

And when you have gotten your fill of the beauty on our Main Street, it’s time to return downtown. Consider warming up with a hot chocolate from Coffee Amici or relaxing with a beer from Logan’s Irish Pub. Either one would be a nice end to a perfectly Findlay day.
