Located off of TR 215 near Findlay you will find Triple T Ranch, a Western Bed and Breakfast that also features riding lessons and trail rides. In August, WBGU’s Kathleen Phipps visited Triple T Ranch for a segment on the December 18 episode of Scenic Stops.
During the episode, Kathleen met Matt and Sande Theis, the couple that owns and operates all aspects of Triple T. While interviewing the couple, one of their miniature horses, Cody, made a special appearance; keep a look out for him during the Scenic Stops episode! Kathleen also sampled some of the Theis’ delicious cooking as well as took her first trail ride.
In addition to trail rides, riding lessons and the B&B, Triple T Ranch also has a small event space and can host team building activities and retreats. Triple T Ranch is open all year round, subject to weather, and are planning on expanding with a small arena, gift shop and meeting rooms in the future!
Food is a staple at Triple T Ranch and breakfast is the best. They feature the Triple T Apple Fritter French toast, fruit parfait with homemade granola topped off with whip cream and homemade apple butter and fruit jams. A special treat is RazzleBerre jam made of strawberries, raspberries and blackberries and named after one of their miniature horse, RazzleBerre. Sande says that both are out of the ordinary and just a little wild!
