Order your Mardi Gras Treats!
From paczkis to po’boys to king cakes, the treats of Mardi Gras are the best part. So make sure to order yours today! Paczkis are the best way to start off Fat Tuesday and to keep the day going throughout. There are two local spots to order your paczkis from. Fort Findlay Coffee & Doughnuts will have paczkis filled with jelly, black raspberry, butter cream lemon, and blueberry. They are open 5 a.m. – 5 p.m. on Fat Tuesday. Appleseed IGA, located in Arlington, will also be having paczkis for Mardi Gras, they will have lemon, strawberry, blueberry, raspberry, as well as the traditional creme filled available. While both locations will have plenty of paczkis to pick up, to guarantee you get your flavors, and for large orders, pre-ordering is strongly recommended! Receiving a King Cake is arguably the best part of Fat Tuesday so don’t miss out and order yours today! The deadline to order a King Cake from Buggy Whip Bakery is Friday, February 24, while Bread Kneads Bakery and Deli asks that you give them at least 24 hours notice. While both locations might have a couple King Cakes on hand Tuesday morning, you definitely want to order ahead!
