What’s better than one King Cake? Two!

Order your Mardi Gras Treats

Let’s be honest and get our priorities straight, the best part of Mardi Gras is the treats.  So first things first, order your treats for Fat Tuesday!  Paczkis are the best way to start off Fat Tuesday (and to snack on all day!) and we have two great local options.  Fort Findlay Coffee & Doughnuts and Appleseed IGA, located in Arlington!  While both locations will have plenty of paczkis to pick up, to guarantee you get your favorite flavors, and for large orders, pre-ordering is strongly recommended!

Receiving a King Cake is arguably the best part of Fat Tuesday so don’t miss out and order yours today!  The deadline to order a King Cake from Buggy Whip Bakery is Friday, February 9, while Bread Kneads Bakery and Deli asks that you give them at least 24 hours notice. While both locations might have a couple King Cakes on hand Tuesday morning, you definitely want to order ahead!

Dine at Uncorked Wine Bar

When it comes to dinner on Fat Tuesday look no further than Uncorked Wine Bar, located in The Wine Merchant, who is serving up a feast for a king.  Enjoy Seafood Etouffee’, Andouille Dogs and Crawfish Pizza, serving begins at 4 p.m. and no reservations are required!

Take part in a Crawfish Boil at Legends

Legends in Downtown Findlay is giving you an authentic Louisiana experience with a Crawfish Boil on Fat Tuesday!  Enjoy ½ pound of boiled Louisiana crawfish, with corn on the cob, red potatoes, dirty rice, & Louisiana style hot sauce, plus King Cake for dessert, all for $20 a person beginning at 4 p.m..

Enjoy a Mardi Gras dinner at Fins

Enjoy a Mardi Gras dinner beginning on Fat Tuesday through the weekend at Fins with Cajun inspired dishes.  They will be serving Jambalaya, Crawfish Etoufee’, Blackened Ribeye with Crawfish topper, Peel-n-Eat Gulf Shrimp with Sharp Cheddar Grits, Whole Crawfish Boil, Whiskey Bread Pudding, Packzi’s, Hurricanes, and New Orleans Bloody Mary’s.

Celebrate at the Anvil Whiskey Bar

It’s never too late to celebrate Mardi Gras at the Anvil Whiskey Bar, located above The Gathering.  Enjoy a Mardi Gras Masquerade Party starting at 7 p.m. on February 24 with classic Cajun cuisine, specialty craft cocktails and live jazz from Quick Trio beginning at 9 p.m.  Don’t forget to wear your best masks and Mardi Gras attire!

We hope you enjoy Mardi Gras in Findlay!  For other events taking place this month check out our event calendar!
