Findlay Brewing Company has been a favorite in Findlay for years, and in the last couple of years they’ve been joined by two new breweries, Modcraft Brewing and CRAFTed Nanobrewery. Grab a flight at each of these spots to discover a new favorite, or chat with their staff to find the perfect brew to suit your taste. Bonus – all three breweries are part of the 419 Ale Trail! Check off three spots here in Findlay before moving on to other Northwest Ohio spots.

Visit Alexandria’s to enjoy your libations in an upscale lounge or go upstairs to The Upper Deck, a sports bar in the same complex…or keep climbing to visit their rooftop tiki bar. Visit the Hancock Sports Hall of Fame, located in Legends which is famous for their boozy milkshakes and delicious brunch. A favorite in Findlay is bourbon, and there are plenty of places to choose from on where to enjoy. The Bourbon Affair invites you to party like its 1939 at this speak easy-inspired bar. With a comfy lounge, wood paneling, a gorgeous, handmade bar, and a cigar lounge The Bourbon Affair is a great place to enjoy an old fashioned and catch up. The Anvil, located on the third floor above The Gathering, is another great whiskey and bourbon bar in Findlay featuring a large selection of bourbon.
Attend an Event, like Oktoberfest
Findlay has so many great events to attend that are ideal for adults, like Oktoberfest. Although, full disclosure, Oktoberfest is family friendly earlier in the evening with children’s activities, as the night goes on it is definitely designed for adults. Sign up for a competition, like a team beer endurance challenge, yodeling contest, brat eating contest, or masskrugstemmen stein endurance contest. And don’t forget your lederhosen or dirndl, there is a German clothing contest as well! Spend the evening competing, spectating, and enjoying the authentic German food, over 50 varieties of German import and domestic beers, German music, and polka dancing!

Cap off your time in Findlay by picking up a treat. While we love sweet treats from Fort Findlay Coffee and Doughnuts or one of the many great bakeries in town, there is something special about Wolfies Roasted Nuts. Roasted in-house by Bill Wolf, Wolfies Roasted Nuts are roasted with a recipe that has been handed down from a Findlay legend.
