Those who are interested in coming together to help build a stronger presence of diversity, inclusion and belonging within the Black Heritage Library & Multicultural Center, for our community are invited to these monthly meetings!

Our mission is to build community awareness, appreciation and understanding of the value of cultural diversity in Hancock County and surrounding areas. We are working on becoming what Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. strived for, becoming a “Beloved Community”.

We are looking to building a larger volunteer base, to help plan events and make the center better for all. Come with your ideas, talents and creativity. We can make this happen!
