Darters are an interesting and colorful group of small fish named for their behavior of darting along the bottom of streams and rivers.

Learn about these fish, including the species that can be found in our area. Hike to Aurand Run to collect darters and other stream life using aquatic nets. Wear closed-toed shoes and clothing that can get wet.
