The term “blue zones” references places in the world where residents have longer, healthier lives. The concept was borne out of demographic work done by Gianni Pes and Michel Poulain and published in the Journal of Experimental Gerontology. Research on this concept has resulted in identification of key lifestyle habits associated with longevity and healthy aging.
Join your freinds at the library as we “step” into the blue zone and learn about lifestyle habits linked with healthy aging and how to overcome barriers to living your best life at any age. We will also taste recipes of foods that Blue Zoners might eat.
