Hands on Fur
January 24 @ 10:00 am - 11:00 am
FreeEvent Navigation
Children can work on sensory development by touching the furs of Ohio mammals. Each animal’s fur feels a little different. Some are soft and fluffy while others are short and scruffy. Children (and adults) can learn animal names and sounds as they touch the furs. Afterward, explore the Discovery Center and look at live animals and animal mounts. Children will have an opportunity to complete a coloring page.
Meet at the Discovery Center. This free program is open to children ages 3 and under with an adult; other aged siblings are welcome to attend. Registration is not required.
