October 22 @ 6:00 pm - 7:00 pm

Amateur radio is science, service, skill, and loads of fun for people of all ages. Learn how you can use ham radio to:

• Talk, text, or send photos to people around the world – without cell service.

• Communicate around the world without the Internet. Off-grid. “When all else fails.”

• Talk through ham radio satellites. And the International Space Station.

• Meet, talk, text with your friend groups off-line and off-grid.

• Radio Sports: Compete in on-the-air contests: individual and team categories

• Combine hiking, camping, and radio communication and contests.

• Become a registered weather spotter supporting your community and the Weather Service.

• Include radio in emergency preparedness planning.
