Build a shelter using what can only be found in the woods. Hancock Park District will talk about the qualities of a good shelter, different types of shelters, and where it is safe to build a shelter, and then we will go in the Nature Play Area, split into groups, and build shelters using natural items found in the area. Afterward, we will judge which group created the best shelter.

Meet at the Discovery Center Porch.  This free program is open to those ages 12-14.  Register online by 4 p.m. on Thursday, December 26.
