Come to the library to decorate a canvas pouch to store your art supplies, makeup supplies, snacks, or more! Teens in grades 6-12 are invited to come draw their creations with fabric markers on a 9.25” x 6.89” zippered canvas pouch! Supplies are limited and registration is required. Registration required, register at findlaylibrary.org.

Curious how a lava lamp works? Experiment with scientific principals like density, solubility, and convection then make your own DIY lava lamp. This event is open to students in grades 2-6. Children 8 and under should be accompanied by an adult.

Home-schooled teens in grades 6-12 are invited to come to the library and hang out and play board games, card games, and puzzles! Both classic games and newer games will be available to play. Use a library-provided game or bring one of your favorites to share!

Speak Easy: An English as a Second Language Conversation Club is designed to connect new members of Hancock County with community organizations. Each meeting will have a different theme and students will get the chance to meet representatives from social services agencies as well as practice English skills.
