

McComb, the largest village in Hancock County, which is situated at the juncture of three state highways – SR235, SR186 & SR613 – and within easy access to I75 as well as the CSX Intermodal Complex, is a young, family oriented community joined together by its support of its highly-rated school which offers many educational and sporting opportunities, many civic organizations, and churches.
The Village boasts of an excellent public library which part of the Ohio Libraries Share: MORE consortium.
McComb’s public park features a playground, a disc golf course, four baseball fields, a batting cage, a zero-entry swimming pool, two tennis courts, a basketball court, five shelter houses for public use at no charge. The above ground reservoirs are located at the park for public fishing and sledding in the winter. Four soccer fields are located at the east end of the park and a one mile walk/fitness trail that through the park. Shady Acres is a very nice nine-hole golf course located on the west side of the Village.
Uniquely, McComb owns and operates its own natural gas system. Electricity is provided by AEP. The Village joined the Northwest Ohio Water and Sewer District which operates its water treatment plant and sanitary treatment system.
The village is protected by a police force of four full-time employees and emergency services are provided by the PMP Joint Ambulance District and a volunteer fire department. A doctor and dentist office are in the Village.
McComb has several large employers including Crushproof Tubing and Hearthside Food Solutions which often lends the smell of fresh baked cookies to the town and is celebrated annually with the Cookie Festival. Surrounded by fertile farmlands, Legacy Farmer’s Co-op has an agronomy facility serving McComb’s agricultural business.
