Many types of apples are harvested during the fall months. There will be a display of apples, recipes, and a demonstration on how to dry and preserve them in the old-fashioned way. Sample dried apple rings afterwards. Oakwoods Nature Preserve Discovery Center 1-4 PM All ages are welcome. Free; registration is not required.
