Animals of Ohio’s Past
September 9 @ 6:00 pm - 7:00 pm
FreeEvent Navigation
Ohio’s landscape, and the animals that live in it, have changed greatly throughout history. From the Ice Age to now, the variety of animals in our state has become vastly different. Environments have transformed causing some animals to leave Ohio while others have moved in. Join Hancock Park District as we learn about the historical animals of Ohio and Hancock County. For example, we will be looking at the mastodons of the frozen past and bison which lived all throughout Ohio not too long ago.
Meet at the Discovery Center Porch. This free program is open to children ages 6-9 with an adult. Registration is not required.
