Join your friends at Hancock Park District to create a fun winter painting of a Cardinal by using your child’s hand as the bird. You and your child will paint on some tree branches and use your child’s hand to create the body of the Cardinal. We will then let the paint dry a little and pass the time by reading a story and looking at a real Cardinal. Then finish the paintings by painting the Cardinal’s beak, legs, wing, and eye and adding some snow.

Meet at the Discovery Center.  This free event is open to children ages 3 and under with an adult.  Registration is not required.
