Learn how plants grow by creating a grass head planter. First, a story about how plants grow will be read by Hancock Park District. Afterward, create a goofy face on a plastic cup using googly eyes, construction paper, markers, yarn, and other crafting materials, plant grass in a cup, and learn how to take care of a plant. After a few weeks, you will have a goofy faced planter with green grass hair growing out of it.

Meet at the Discovery Center.  This free event is open to children ages 4-5 with an adult.  Registration is not required.
