Winter is coming and while children are getting ready to play in the snow, many animals are preparing for a long snooze. In this program, Hancock Park District will teach you about the process of hibernation. Children will learn about the animals that hibernate, misconceptions on what defines hibernation, and how an animal begins to hibernate.
