Rocks can be igneous, metamorphic, sedimentary, and possibly a fossil. If it were a fossil, it would contain something that was once alive. There will be rocks of all kinds and books about rocks to look at. Kids will have an opportunity to screen for rocks in the sand pit and find one to take home.

Meet at the Discovery Center.  This free program is open to families with children ages 5 and up.  Registration is not required.
