The atlatl is one of the oldest hunting tools in the world. It was used by prehistoric hunters for thousands of years, and in some cultures, it is still being used today. The atlatl will be thrown like a spear at archery targets. Join Hancock Park District as they will discuss the history of this ancient hunting tool, how it was created, and how to throw it and use it safely.

Meet at Dold Lake.  This free program is open to those ages 12-14.  Register online by 1 p.m. on Monday, May 13.
