Hancock Park District will discuss life in a stream habitat and explore Aurand Run Trail in search of fish, crayfish, water striders, and macroinvertebrates. Nets will be used to capture the animals so that they can be studied. Animals will be relocated to an aquarium inside the Discovery Center for further observation. Wear closed-toed shoes and clothing that can get wet.

Meet at the Discovery Center Porch.  This free program is open to children ages 10 – 12.  Registration is required by 1 p.m. on Friday, May 24.
