Students will expand their concept of traditional watercolor painting to include using a variety of materials in collage. You will use handmade papers, as well as printed and found papers.

Students will learn to transfer text and printed images onto watercolor paper and integrate those transfers into their watercolor paintings. You will learn to build up surfaces with patterns using techniques of stenciling and stamping as well as using materials such as gesso, matte medium and acrylics. All materials will be provided.

This class is open to students 18 and older.  This is a 4 week class that begins on September 21 and repeats weekly until October 12.  Sign up here!
