Join Hancock Park District as they explore the weather with hands-on experiments and observations. Kids will determine air temperature, soil temperature, wind speed, and cloud coverage using kid-friendly weather equipment and some non-traditional ones like pinwheels and wind socks. You will also be able make a giant sundial and a sun-reacting bracelet to take home.

Meet at the Discovery Center Porch.  This event is open to children ages 4-5, register online with $3 per child by 1 p.m. on Thursday, August 17.
