Hancock County is home to many great hidden treasures. Over the next few months we will be highlighting a few of these little-known gems!
Appleseed IGA Bakery Barn
128 Vail St., Arlington
Monday-Saturday, 8 a.m. – 9 p.m.
Sunday, 10 a.m. – 5 p.m.
Anyone who follows our Facebook page knows we are big fans of the Bakery Barn in Arlington. Located in the back of the Appleseed IGA, the Bakery Barn is home to some of the best doughnuts we have ever had. There are your classics, like glazed and cake doughnuts, but what really sets the Bakery Barn apart is their unique take on our favorites. Don’t settle for a vanilla or chocolate filled stick (although they are great!) try a maple or buckeye filled stick. And instead of your trusty glazed doughnut, try the glazed croissants, regular or cream filled, you will not regret it! If you want something special, call the Bakery Barn or stop in and talk to the ladies in the back, they take special orders to
guarantee you will be a happy customer! Not only does the Bakery Barn have great doughnuts, they also have pies and other baked goods that are just as delectable. We highly recommend calling ahead and placing your order if you are looking for something specific or need a large order.
