Hancock County is home to many great hidden treasures. Over the next few months we will be highlighting a few of these little-known gems!
Lima Avenue Rootbeer Stand
830 Lima Avenue, Findlay
Tuesday – Saturday, 11 a.m. – 8 p.m.
It has been said that it isn’t summer until you visit the Lima Avenue Root Beer Stand and we agree! This Findlay staple is known for great food: Spanish Dogs, Fried Bologna Sandwiches, Onion Rings, delicious Burgers, and more. Make sure you ask about the secret dog for a special menu favorite that is amazing. Their milkshakes are great, but what really sets them apart is their floats. Cherry, Grape, Orange, and, of course, Rootbeer, all come in a tall, icy mug. There is no better way to celebrate summer than enjoying a float from the rootbeer stand. But, the fun doesn’t have to end there! Check them out on facebook to learn more!
Lima Avenue Rootbeer Stand is open for in-car dining, as well as at the picnic tables – but you must wit for the server to say they’re ready for you. You can see the Lima Avenue Rootbeer Stand’s COVID-19 policies here. Is visiting Lima Avenue Rootbeer Stand on your Post-Quarantine Wish List? See what is on our list here!
