Arcadia
The Village of Arcadia may be a little place on the map but it has a big heart with residents that truly care about each other. Arcadia was laid out in 1855 and named after the region in Greece. There are three churches in town that hold regular events to bring the community together, like ice cream socials, bazaars, and vacation bible schools. The Village also hosts a community garage sale every year and you can usually see community events on the Lions Club bulletin board as you come into town. The Lions Club has a community building that can be rented out for weddings and parties, as well as a nice park with fields for baseball, softball, and soccer. If you are just driving through you should stop in to the Arcadia Superette, they offer Amish goods, ice cream and pizza. Kathy’s Korner pies are world famous - just ask us, we will tell you! Don't be surprised to see some special residents right outside town - there is a farm that raises buffalo!
