Get in the holiday spirit in Downtown Findlay!  Make memories with your family as you take in the City of Findlay Christmas Tree, visit the WinterFest Market, shop at local retailers while filling up your WinterFest passport, enjoying seasonal beverages, and more!

The Market

Shop straight from local makers, creators, and artists at the Market! 

Taking place on Friday evenings from Thanksgiving until Christmas, the Market will be held in Dorney Plaza around the City of Findlay Christmas Tree.

Kiwanis Santa’s House

Bring the whole family out for this Findlay tradition – Kiwanis Santa’s House!  Held at St. Andrew’s Church on Fridays from 6 – 8 p.m. 

Visitors can meet with Santa, enjoy cookies and hot chocolate, or go on a wagon ride in Downtown to get in the festive spirit.  This event is free, brought to the community by the Kiwanis Club of Findlay.

Holiday Passport

Downtown Retailers are getting in on the fun!  Get rewarded for shopping your way through Downtown with WinterFest passports all holiday season – especially during extended WinterFest hours!

Yuletide Hour

Bridge the time between work and all the WinterFest festivities with a festive happy hour – Yuletide Hour!  Many Downtown bars and restaurants are highlighting winter and holiday themed drinks.  Want to enjoy it on the go?  Grab the drink in a DORA cup!

 DORA is Findlay’s Designated Outdoor Refreshment Area, meaning if you purchase your favorite beer, wine, or cocktail in a DORA cup you are permitted to enjoy it as you walk around WinterFest and in participating retailers and attractions. Those locations will be indicated with a DORA decal so keep your eyes peeled! For additional details and to learn more go to FindlayOhio.gov. 

Downtown Fun

Sing a Tune! Each week you can find local students performing as featured carolers around the City of Findlay Christmas Tree.  Performers include Findlay First Edition, Voices in Perfection, Hancock County Children’s Choir, and St. Michael’s School choirs. See the schedule here!

Vote for your Favorite Window! As you stroll Downtown Findlay be sure to take in the beautifully decorated windows.  See the participating locations and vote for your favorites here!

Strike a Pose! Downtown Findlay is full of spots that are perfect for photo ops.  Photo Ops open during WinterFest hours include Hancock Hotel’s lobby, Latham Courtyard, Garden Central, and, of course, the City of Findlay Christmas Tree!  Although not open during WinterFest, be sure to stop by MCPA’s Heminger Atrium to see the decorations!  Of course, you won’t want to miss the decorations in St. Andrew’s Church as part of Kiwanis Santa’s House.

Enjoy Dinner Out! WinterFest is as good as time as any to enjoy dinner at a local restaurant!  Visit a tried-and-true favorite or discover your family’s new go-to spot.  See all the local restaurants in Downtown Findlay here!
