Animals Around the Clock
January 27 @ 6:00 pm - 7:00 pm
FreeEvent Navigation
The animal world is open 24/7. Some animals like to wake up to the sun and some animals wake up when the sun is setting. In this Hancock Park District program, we will talk about the various sleep cycles found in the animal world. We will look at animals that are awake during the day, animals that are awake during the night, and animals that are active at specific times of the day. Animals that will be highlighted are gray squirrels, Virginia opossums, and white-tailed deer. Furs and animal mounts will be on display.
Meet at the Discovery Center. This free program is open to families with children ages 6 and up. Registration is not required.
