Berries: Open House

June 22 @ 1:00 pm - 4:00 pm

Free

Berries were an important food source for families back in the 1800s. Strawberries, blueberries, raspberries, and blackberries could be grown in the family garden or foraged in the forest. Learn the different ways these fruits can be used, including pies, preserves, and dried for later consumption. Stop by the McKinnis house for a taste of raspberry pie and dried strawberries and blueberries.

Meet at the McKinnis House. All ages are welcome at this free event, registration is not required.
