Discovery Stories: Beaks

May 20 @ 10:00 am - 11:00 am

Free

Birds have cool beaks that are used in a variety of ways. A fun story will be read by Hancock Park District staff to teach children about some of the ways in which birds use their beaks. Bird sculls will be on display to show examples of beaks. There will be a discussion about other animals that have beaks and how they use them. Children will have an opportunity to create a bird craft and complete a coloring page.

Meet at the Discovery Center.  This free program is open to children ages 4-5 with an adult; other aged siblings are welcome to attend.  Registration is not required.
