It was important for early naturalists to make field notes while they were out exploring nature. Since there were no cameras or phones at that point, it was important to make detailed notes and drawings of the living creatures they encountered. Join Hancock Park District as they will try this observation method with our Field Note Hike. Join us and bring a journal as we hike and make detailed notes of the interesting wildlife sights we see. You can also make sketches of what we see. Please bring your own journal and writing utensils.

Meet at the Discovery Center Porch.  This free program is open to those ages 18 and older.  Registration is not required.
