FPD Bicycle Rodeo

June 14 @ 9:00 am - 11:00 am

Free

The Findlay Police Department will be hosting our annual Bicycle Rodeo on Saturday, June 7th from 9:00 to 11:00 AM at the Marathon Center for the Performing Arts. (The rain date will be Saturday, June 14th if needed.)

For those not familiar, the Bicycle Rodeo is a free, family friendly event that promotes healthy living and bicycle safety. This year’s event will feature a light breakfast, entertainment, children’s activities and prizes. There will also be several bicycle safety stations, where area youth learn about the different aspects of bicycle safety and have a chance to practice it on road and obstacle courses. Helmets and bicycle licenses are provided free of charge. Emergency vehicles will be on display, as well as Findlay Public Library’s Bookmobile and they Boy scout’s mobile archery range. Other activities for children will also be available. The event is geared towards Hancock County youth ages 4 -12, but all are welcome.

If you’re looking for a family friendly event to kick off the start of summer, join us on June 7th. You must bring a bicycle and if you have a helmet, bring that as well.
