Create your own spectroscope with Hancock Park District, which is a tool that breaks up light into its component colors. You will learn about light and then create your spectroscopes using a paper towel tube and an old CD. Then use your spectroscopes to explore different light sources around you.
Meet at the Discovery Center. This free event is open to ages 10-13, register by 1 p.m. on Friday, August 11.
