Spring has finally arrived, and many of the animals who left for the winter will be returning soon. Some of those animals include birds that live on the water.

Join your Friends at Hancock Park District and learn about the special characteristics of birds that live on the water and the ones that can be found in Hancock County. Water bird mounts will be on display inside the Richard S. “Doc” Phillips Discovery Center. Mounts will include the Mallard, Great Blue Heron, and an American White Pelican.

Meet at the Discovery Center.  This free program is open to children ages 10-12.  Registration is not required.
