Over the past few months we have been highlighting our favorite hidden gems throughout the county, many of which are small businesses!  In continuing celebrating of Small Business Month this month we are discovering all the festive fun to be had at  Feasel’s Garden Center and Gift Shoppe!

Feasel’s Garden Center and Gift Shoppe is well known in the community as a great greenhouse and a go-to spot to purchase garden supplies.  But it may not be a top-of-mind place when you think of locations with plenty of festive cheer and it definitely should be.  With the addition of many great seasonal events, Feasel’s definitely needs to be a spot you visit this holiday season. Kicking it all off on Black Friday when the Children’s Christmas Train takes children on rides through the garden center, plus they can enjoy some fun crafts from 5 – 8 p.m.  The train will return back to Feasel’s on December 2 as well.  The big guy in red – Santa – and his reindeer come to Feasel’s on Small Business Saturday, November 26!  The kids crafts will be back, sure to make this a great evening (especially if you get to score some great deals as well!).  If you can’t make it to Feasel’s on Small Business Saturday, you will definitely want to catch Santa and his reindeer when they return on December 3.  Feasel’s Christmas Wonderland isn’t just for children, it is definitely for adults too.  Wine in a Christmas Wonderland kicks off December 1 and returns December 8 and the 15.  Plus, get your home ready for the season by attending one of Feasel’s Porch Pot classes and a Wreath Making class taking place throughout the month.

And while you get in the holiday spirit, get some of your shopping done as well! Feasel’s recently expanded their gift shop and now offer gifts for just about anyone on your Christmas list. They carry Very Bradley items, several perfume and cologne lines, sentimental gifts for children and so much more. It is a natural spot to find a gift for someone with a green thumb, but also those that aren’t quite as talented in the garden. With Items to create a fairy garden even those who can’t keep a basic plant living can create a little masterpiece to showcase indoors, in a pit outdoors, or even in the yard. When looking to pick up some new holiday decor look no further than Feasel’s.
