Associations

Visit Findlay assists in organizing and moderating industry association meetings, gathering tourism partners in our area together for collaboration and idea sharing.

Hancock County Hospitality Council

The Hospitality Council is open to all members of the tourism and hospitality sector.  An opportunity to get all hospitality partners in one room, this group meets quarterly.  Participants can expect a professional development segment, updates from the CVB, and time set aside to network.  On Hospitality Council months there will not be any other association meetings.  See links and notes from previous meetings here!

Hotel Association

The Hotel Association gathers members from all hotel and lodging properties in Hancock County on a quarterly basis.

Downtown Food and Drink Club

The Downtown Food and Drink Club is open to those from Downtown locations that serve food or drink.  This group meets monthly on the first Wednesday of the month.  Members of this group are also part of a facebook group.

Downtown Retail Association

The Downtown Retail Association is open to shop owners and employees of Downtown retail and service businesses.  This group meets monthly on the second Tuesday of the month.  Members of this group are also part of a facebook group.

Art and Heritage Council

The Arts and Heritage Council is comprised of representatives from organizations with an arts, culture, historical, or heritage mission, as well as organizations that would benefit from regularly meeting with those organizations.  The Arts and Heritage Council meets on the second Monday every other month.

If you are interested in joining one of the associations, please contact Alissa Preston, apreston@visitfindlay.com, to learn of the next meeting date and location.
