Of all the insects, the praying mantis is one of the most unique. Long praying arms and big bulging eyes makes the praying mantis truly stand out among other bugs. In Hancock Park District’s program, we will learn all about the different mantids you might find in Hancock County and explore their role in nature. We will also look at pictures of mantid species from other parts of the world.

Meet at Brugeman Lodge.  This free event is open to children ages 4-5 with an adult.  Registration is not required.
