The story of “The Pinecone Walk,” by Barbara Springfield will be told by Hancock Park District as you walk the paved portion of the Loop Trail to the pine tree area.

Join your friends to look for things in nature that were in the book, such as deer tracks, funny shaped sticks, rocks, and birds. There are many treasures in nature that you can discover on a short hike when you stop, look, and listen.

Meet at the Parking Lot by Shelter 3.  This free event is open to children ages 3 and under with an adult.  Registration is not required.
