Spring is a magical time in Findlay. After a long winter’s nap, the blooms start coming to life and the outdoors almost explodes with beauty.
It’s also a great time to find free things to do in our beautiful area.
So if you’re itching to get out and explore, here’s what you need to know:
Go to Riverside Park
There are many parks you can explore in Findlay. But if you really want to enjoy all of the beauty that spring has to offer, we suggest a stop at Riverside Park.
As the weather warms, you can find concerts, kayaks and playgrounds. But you can also find a park bench and just enjoy all of the beautiful colors that almost make you feel like you’ve been transported to a magical fairyland. It’s a wonderful park year round, but it just comes alive in the spring.
Read a Book at Mazza Museum
Did you know Mazza Museum is free? It’s a great place to go during those rainy spring days.
Take your kids to enjoy the many images from their favorite picture books. And then grab one of those books from the shelf for your own personal story time with your kids.
In addition, Mazza Museum hosts free events for your children, including the monthly Funday Sunday. Funday Sunday comes with fun and silly themes that will keep your kids engaged and giggling.
Attend ArtWalk
Twice a year, Downtown Findlay celebrates the amazing arts in our community with ArtWalk, and the next one is in May!
At ArtWalk, you’ll see local art, hear local music and enjoy all of it with our local businesses. You’ll even find great specials at those local businesses that will make your night even more fun. And yes, it’s free to attend!
These are just a few of the free things you can do during spring in Findlay. Keep an eye on our events calendar for many more!
