Today is World Swift Day, a day to celebrate and bring awareness to these high-flying birds. Learn about our local swift species, the Chimney Swift. A story will be read by Hancock Park District, followed by a hike in search of Chimney Swifts flying high above the treetop. Afterward, create a Chimney Swift glider and a swift information cootie catcher.

Meet at the Discovery Center Porch.  This free program is open to children ages 6-10 with an adult, registration is not required.
