Mardi Gras is around the corner and it is time to get Fat Tuesday ready! Check out some of these ways to celebrate!
Make sure your treats match the day – pick up plenty of paczkis! Luckily, there are plenty of spots to pick up these delicious Fat Tuesday treats. Fort Findlay Coffee and Doughnuts has you covered – get there early, they often run out! The Dough Hook in Bluffton will have paczkis in addition to their delicious baked treats (have you seen their caramel apple pie – yum!)
We may not have the parades in Findlay, but we can still have King Cake! We always recommend ordering ahead of time from The Baking Company and Bread Kneads, however they will have limited cash and carry King Cakes available on Fat Tuesday. If King Cake isn’t your thing The Baking Company and Bread Kneads will have a special Mardi Gras themed cupcake for you to enjoy! The Baker’s Cafe always knows how to do Mardi Gras – be sure to plan a visit for King Cake, paczkis, themed cookies, and other sweets to enjoy.
Fins Seafood & Grill is back with their Mardi Gras celebratory crawfish boil! This year’s celebration is first come, first serve and dine-in only so make your reservations now! You will enjoy crawfish, smoked andouille sausage, red potatoes, corn on the cob, mushrooms, and more – plus, for a limited time, order some Cajun Alligator Bites, Oysters Rockefeller, Crawfish Etouffee, and Jambalaya. Reserve your spot by calling 419-429-1900!
How ever you choose to celebrate we hope you have a great Mardi Gras. Plan for the rest of the week by checking out our Lenten Friendly suggestions here!
